Jeremy Wafer is a Durban-based artist whose work is informed by an artistic language which is modular, minimal and contemplative. His prints and sculptures have been exhibited extensively both locally and abroad. Wafer teaches at the Witwatersrand Technikon. The artist's book is full of rich colour reproductions that illustrate the quiet and enigmatic beauty of his socially-engaged work. Frost's text is knowledgeable and accessible, and capable of engaging both the academic and the novice.
